Plastic was never meant to be boring.
We rescue plastic bottles and turn them into bags so colourful, you'd never guess what they used to be.
Most sustainable stuff is a bit beige. We think doing good should look good. So we take plastic bottles nobody wanted, and turn them into bold, joyful bags built to last for years – not seasons.

How 17 bottles become one backpack
Rescued before they reach landfill or the ocean. That's what goes into a single Hackney backpack.
The bottles are cleaned, crushed and chopped into flakes.
Melted and spun into soft, strong yarn, certified to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS).
Woven into fabric and printed with OEKO-TEX® certified inks. This is where it gets fun.
Designed in London to last for years, and 100% recyclable when it's finally done.
